Apple has released an “airplane” power supply for laptops

Apple today introduced a new accessory for its laptops – an adapter that allows you to power your MacBook and MacBook Pro from the aircraft’s onboard network during flight.

The device, dubbed the MagSafe Airline Power Adapter, plugs into a power outlet located in the passenger compartment seats. As you know, some time ago, several airlines banned the use of Apple and Dell laptops with a connected battery in aircraft cabins. And although this ban has now been lifted, Apple apparently felt that the presence of such an accessory in the company’s assortment would not hurt.

“With the MagSafe Airline Power Adapter, you get the convenience of MagSafe technology. The magnetic connector, on the one hand, allows you to get a reliable connection between the cable and the computer, and on the other hand, protects the laptop from falling if someone accidentally touches the cable, “- says the manufacturer about the new product.

Note that the laptop battery does not charge when using the MagSafe Airline Power Adapter.

The cost of new items – $ 59.
